Mark Manuel Reyes

Mark Manuel Reyes, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Stone Oak Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. Mark was born in Park River, North Dakota, the only son of Audrey and Manuel Reyes. He graduated from Radford High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, but was a long time resident of Schertz, Texas. 

Mark loved the outdoors. He was very proud of his acreage in Schertz, calling it his "Ranch-ette." He was a great cook and enjoyed hosting family and friends at the ranch-ette for barbeque feasts.

Mark never met an animal that he didn't instantly fall in love with. Over the years, he was a pet parent to many cats, dogs, cattle, birds, and even a pair of squirrels. Mark also loved the ocean. He surfed for as long as his body allowed, from Oahu to Corpus Christie. But above all, Mark loved his family. 

Mark is survived by an older sister, Jacquelyn Guilinger and her husband Terry, a younger sister Janette Reyes, two nieces, Sarah Lawson and Robin Almaraz and one nephew, Mark Guilinger. 

Mark’s memory will also live on in the hearts of aunts Monica Knutson and Debra Black, many cousins, and one great-niece.
