Maria Elena Robinson

Maria Elena Robinson, born on June 1st, 1957, in Monterrey, Mexico, entered into eternal rest at the age of 66 on October 23rd, 2023. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Alicia Saldivar Gonzalez and Jose Natividad Aranda Aguirre. She was raised in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. She moved to the United States, where she settled in with the love of her life, David Sr., and fostered a family of her own. Maria was beloved by all who met her; her personality was resilient and unwavering, yet highly compassionate and forgiving. Above all, she was a fierce advocate for those she loved.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, David Robinson Sr.; her three children, Edgar Ochoa, Dina Robinson, and David Robinson, Jr.; her grandchildren, Alicia, Ava and Jimena; her siblings; Victor Aranda, Rodolfo Aranda, Amalia Gonzalez, Maria Eugenia Espinoza, Eva Maria Aranda, and Mario Alberto Aranda; as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss her.

Maria’s celebration of life will be held on October 30, 2023, at the Schertz Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 am.
