Marciano Angelo Parisano
First Lieutenant Marciano (Marco) A. Parisano was born in Wuerzburg, Germany on 21 Feb 2000, where he lived and traveled within Europe, Georgia, and further relocated to Cibolo, Texas in 2008 with his family. From his early years through high school, he was a devoted Church Altar Server and Religious Educator’s assistant to elementary children. During High school, Marco participated in JROTC and held many positions including president of the National Honor Society and graduated in 2018 in the top percentage of his class at Byron P. Steele II High School. In 2023, he graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point where he led several student organizations and was the D1 Company Commander during culmination. Marco attended aviation training school at Alabama's Fort Novosel, where he selected the UH-60 Blackhawk as his airframe and earned the rank of First Lieutenant on Nov. 27, 2024. Marco was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras.
Marco aspired to make the Army a career from the time he graduated West Point. Marco loved flying the Blackhawk. He was very forward focused, anticipating his chance to achieve a Pilot-in-Command Position.
He was proud of his achievements and humbled himself by directing credit towards others and God’s blessings. Marco was a devout Catholic, who sought God’s guidance throughout his life always giving praise to God for his decisions and future endeavors. On Easter Weekend, April 2025, he and his fiancé Alley Singley, were engaged to be married.
During his military career,1Lt. Marciano Parisano was awarded the Army Commendation medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Air Assault Badge, Army Aviator Badge "wings”, German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge [gold], and Norwegian Foot March Badge.
He is survived by his father, Tom Parisano; Mother, Jessie Parisano; sister, Rosabella Parisano; brothers; Leonardo Parisano and Riccardo Parisano and Grandmothers; Patricia Parisano and Suze Saint-Pierre.
