Macedonio Ybaben

October 13, 1959 — July 21, 2021

Macedonio “Macy” Ybaben surrounded by family left this earth at age 61 on July 21st, 2021. Born to Maria and Reynaldo Ybaben on October 13, 1959, in Laredo, Texas. Macy is survived by his loving son Macedonio Ybaben Jr, his brother Bobby Ybaben, as well as his sisters Teresa Trout, Lisa Ybaben, Pearl Ybaben and MaryAnn Ybaben. He will be missed by his loving animals, Blondie who was his closest companion, along with his cats Pipsqueak (Baby, Macy called her Peewee), Kiki and Snowflake.

Macy was a loving son, who was close with his parents, especially his mom. He was connected dearly with his brother Bobby, they lived together, worked together, and spent most of everyday together. The love and bond they shared was one like no other. He was protective and loving with his sisters and family. He treasured his relationship with his son JR.

Fishing was an activity that was introduced to him by his father. He grew to love to fish whenever he could. Macy was also an amazing bowler which was a passion he passed on to his son.

Macy was a loyal, hardworking man for 42 years in the RV industry. He was a master in the Service department, from hitches, roof’s, electrical and RV structural design and repair he taught so many, so much, leaving a legacy behind at Crestview RV in Selma.

Many did not understand Macy and how quiet he was. Some people called him grumpy, but he was truly a caring and giving man. He would help anyone who needed it.

Macy will never be forgotten and will be in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday July 27, 2021, from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Schertz Funeral Home.
