Luz Paayas Valiente, age 96, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 2, 2024. She was known for her warm heart, faithful religious devotion, and infectious smile. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a devout member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Schertz, Texas. Viewing and rosary will be held from 5 pm – 7 pm on Sunday, December 15, 2024. A funeral mass is scheduled at 11:30 am on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church followed by interment at the Killeen Memorial Park in Killeen, Texas.
