Lorraine Morici 82 of Selma, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Lorraine was born on August 9, 1938 in Milwaukee. WI. to the late Pietro Morici and Rosa (Gagliano) Morici. In addition to her parents Lorraine was preceded in death by her siblings, Rosalie Morici, Pauline Morici, Jennie Heffel, Mary O’Kelly, John Morici, and infant brother. She is survived by her sister Anna Gioimo (Anthony) of New Braunfels, TX. sister-in-law Betty Morici of Crossville, TN. and her many cherished nieces, nephews, godchildren, and cousins. Lorraine worked in the network department at Wisconsin Telephone/Ameritech in Milwaukee, WI. until her retirement. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Saint Ann’s Society at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, TX. A mass of Christian burial will be conducted on January 8, 2021 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 16075 North Evans Road, Selma, TX 78154 for close family and friends due to the covid-19 pandemic. There will be a memorial service and interment in Milwaukee, Wi. at later date that will be announced. In lieu of flowers the family request that a mass or masses be said in her honor.
