Leticia Tovar Garza, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and servant of God, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her daughter’s home in Cibolo, Texas, May 11, 2025
Born September 28, 1964 in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Leticia was the cherished daughter of Ines Tovar and Guadalupe Lara. She was united in marriage to Lamberto Garza, and together they shared 47 wonderful years, building a life rooted in love, faith, and family.
Leticia and Lamberto made their home in Marion, Texas, where they raised eight beloved children: Bellanira Garza, Juan Pablo Garza, Maria Magdalena Garza, Roberto Garza, Josue E. Garza, Abigail Garza, Isai Garza, and Sarai Garza. Her legacy lives on in her 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.
A devoted pastor’s wife and passionate evangelist, Leticia dedicated her life to ministry. She touched many lives through her faith, her kindness, and her beautiful voice, often singing praises to the Lord with heartfelt devotion. A strong woman of faith, Leticia endured many physical trials throughout her latter days yet always gave testimony through her unwavering faith in GOD.
Leticia will be remembered for her unwavering faith in GOD, her gentle spirit, and the love she poured into her family and her church. She leaves behind a legacy of grace, strength, and devotion to God.
