Kimberly Manuel

Kimberly is a registered nurse and died unexpectedly on September 27, 2022 at the age of 33 while on trip to Fredericksburg to spend her birthday dinner together with her fiance’ Kim Marlo Garcia that passed away a day after (Sept. 28, 2022) at BAMC hospital and father Eduardo Manuel, the only survivor.

Kimberly is survived by her parents: Eduardo Manuel and Barbara Pablo Manuel.

Kimberly was born in Sto. Nino, Occidental Mindoro, Philippines on September 27, 1989. She is the only child.  She graduated from South East Asian College with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, migrated to USA in 2012 and practiced as nurse in 2015 at Northeast Methodist Hospital.  She was supposed to get married to her late fiancé – Kim Marlo on Sept. 29, 2022.

Kimberly was a very sweet and simple child.  She is extremely loved by her late Lolo Tommy.  She enjoyed taking beautiful self-portraits of the colorful ordinary, traveling to world destinations, exploring landscapes, and simple outdoor walks was everything to her.  She served as registered nurse for the past 6 years in United States.  She is a Daisy awardee for being an extraordinary nurse, a prestigious award in the US.  She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.

There will be a Visitation held on Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM in the United States at Schertz Funeral Home in Schertz, Texas.

The final funeral service is scheduled at 1:00 p.m., October 24, 2022, Monday at Schertz Funeral Home.  Father Martin Parayno will bless and officiate the service.

Her remains will be placed at Sto. Nino Rizal Cemetery, Occidental Mindoro, Philippines together with her loving Lolo Tommy and Lola Ickay.
