Kathleen Caskey

Kathleen Edith Boyd Caskey, 79, of Cibolo, Texas, passed away on July 02, 2021. She was born on February 19, 1942 in Grundy, Virginia to parents, Moses and Myrtle (Gilbert) Boyd. She married Earl Caskey, from Morehead Kentucky -in Dayton Ohio.  She enjoyed her flower garden and her devoted acquaintances over the years.  She also kept in contact with many of her friends from Ohio, Kentucky and Virginia region.  She loved receiving her beautiful cards from all her friends and family.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Caskey; her parents, Moses and Myrtle Boyd; siblings, Darnel Boyd, Cecil Boyd, Moses Boyd, Jr. and Irene Turner. She is survived by her daughter, Gina Vazquez with husband Juan; grandchildren, Samantha Vazquez, Kristi Castro with husband, Alex and Vanessa Basora with husband, Eric; great grandchildren, Kaleb Castro, Aubrey Castro, Mason Basora and Kia Basora; sister, Imogene Compton; friends, Jean and Bill Finley with Debbie, Betty Harkins, and Angie Gonzales; as well as numerous special cousins, nieces, nephews, special neighbors and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at the Schertz Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
