Jose Chavez, Jr., born on October 8, 1977, in Orange, California, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, in Cibolo, Texas. He went to be with the Lord, leaving behind a legacy rooted in faith and devotion.

Jose was a man who loved the Lord deeply and always sought His will in every aspect of his life. His unwavering faith was a guiding light to all who knew him, reflecting a life lived with purpose and humility.

He graduated from high school and dedicated 18 years of his career to Theis Distribution Company, where he was respected for his hard work and commitment.

Jose is survived by his loving family: his father, Jose Chavez; his devoted wife, Gloria Chavez; and his sisters, Beatriz Chavez and Patty Chavez. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Andrade Chavez.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Marion Baptist Church. A Funeral Service will immediately follow from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The Graveside Service will take place at Marion Cemetery beginning at 12:00 p.m. 

Jose’s life was a testament to his faith and dedication to his family and community. He will be remembered with respect and love by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
