John P. Ostrowski born on May 8, 1944 in Buffalo, NY, passed away on June 2, 2021 in Schertz, TX at the age of 77. John is preceded in death by his parents Thaddeus and Martha Ostrowski and sister Gertrude.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Elaine Ostrowski. As well as his sons Paul (Heather) and Kevin (Suzanne), and his sister Anne Smith. Papa will be greatly missed by his granddaughter Lily whom he adored.
He retired from the U.S Air Force after 23 years of dedicated service, and continued to work logistics management. He especially enjoyed volunteering at his church with the Godly Grillers, as well as many other community events. He enjoyed working on many lawn and DIY projects in his free time.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Schertz Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. A private family interment will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
