To his wife, Cindy Huepers, Jimmy was a devoted partner and best friend. Their love was deep, steady, and cherished—built on trust, laughter, and a bond that only grew stronger with time. They cared for one another in a way that was felt by everyone around them, a quiet and beautiful partnership that stood as the heart of Jimmy’s life.

Jimmy had a way of making the people he loved feel supported, understood, and valued, and his gentle spirit was a constant source of comfort. Jimmy leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will forever remember his warmth, humor, and the way he made every family gathering feel complete.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Goodman Huepers and Edward Huepers; his son, Hans Huepers; and his siblings: Rosie Huepers, Willie Huepers, Ella Huepers, Johnnie Huepers, Edna Huepers, Annie Mae Huepers, and Edward Huepers Jr. Each of them held a special place in his heart throughout his life.

Jimmy’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. His steady presence, his kindness, his loyalty, and the love he shared—especially the love he and Cindy cherished so deeply—will continue to guide and comfort his family for years to come.

A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Schertz Funeral Home, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share the stories that made him unforgettable.
