Obituary

Born on June 21, 1993, Jesicah is a cherished daughter to her parents, Thomas L. Mitchell, Jr. and Michele Rene (Morris) Mitchell, a devoted mother to Faith Adea Mitchell, a beloved sister to Joseph Lawrence Mitchell, Alaina Marisa Mitchell, and Kamilah Alexandra Mitchell, and a treasured friend to the many she encountered during her 33 years here on earth. Her life is a gift from GOD, and through her kindness, compassion, strength, and love, she touched the lives of many. She has a gentle spirit that reflects GOD's love in both quiet moments and meaningful acts of care. Those who know her will remember her smile, her resilience, and the genuine concern she shows for others.

Among her greatest blessings and most enduring legacy is her precious daughter, Faith. The love Jesicah poured into her life will continue to shape Faith for years to come. Although Faith will deeply miss her mother's presence, she will forever carry with her the values, love, and example that Jesicah instilled. Through Faith, a part of Jesicah's life continues to flourish, reminding us that love leaves an inheritance that passing from this earth cannot erase.

As a family, we have experienced profound grief, yet we have also experienced the sustaining presence of GOD. Scripture reminds us, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." (John 11:25). Those words are not merely comforting—they are the foundation of our faith. Because Christ conquered death, we grieve with hope. We trust that Jesicah now rests in the loving presence of the Lord, where there is no more pain, no more suffering, and no more tears.

Jesicah's journey on this earth has ended, but her influence has not. Every lesson she taught, every act of kindness she offered, every life she touched, and every expression of love she shared continues to bear fruit. Her memory will live on in her family, in her friends, and especially in the life of her daughter.

On behalf of her family, friends, and colleagues, we express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has prayed for us, encouraged us, comforted us, and walked beside us during this difficult season. Your compassion has been a tangible reminder of GOD's love and the strength found within the body of Christ. As we celebrate the life of Jesicah today, let us not focus solely on the day her earthly journey ended, but celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the eternal life she now enjoys through Jesus Christ. May her memory inspire us to love more deeply, forgive more freely, serve more faithfully, and trust more completely in the promises of GOD.

Though we will miss her until we meet again, we rejoice in the blessed assurance that this farewell is not forever. Because of Christ, we look forward to the day when every tear will be wiped away, every sorrow will cease, and we will once again be reunited in the presence of our Savior. Until that glorious day, Jesicah, you will remain forever loved, forever remembered, and forever in our hearts. "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace." Amen.
