Jerry Lynn Trahan

Jerry L. Trahan went to be with the Lord at 71 years of age on October 13, 2023 in Converse, Texas. Jerry was born in Beaumont, Texas, November 19, 1951. He was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. P.L Trahan.

Jerry had a great thirst for knowledge which started at a young age and carried on throughout his life.

While in the Navy he finished his BA and also later earned his MBA. Jerry served in the Navy as a Pharmacy Technician. Plank owner aboard the USS Tarawn, LHA1. Served aboard the USS Pele Lio LHA5.

Jerry served in Operation Desert Shield & Storm. He retired from the Navy as a Medical Service Officer Lt. J.G.

Jerry was a man of deep catholic faith. He was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Leslie M. Trahan, his daughter Sharon Ikels (Dustin), grandsons Brantley & Rhett Ikels, brothers Joseph M. Trahan (Carolyn), David Trahan (Bonnie), Charles Trahan (Dana), sisters Pattie Calder (Donald), Donna Foreman (Shelly).

Jerry is preceded in death by his son Earl L. Trahan, parents Mr. & Mrs. P.L Trahan, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Nelton Trahan, Mr. & Mrs. E. LeJune.

Funeral Service will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in China, Texas.

Jerry will be laid to rest at China Cemetery.
