Jerry L. Dennis, age 62 of Converse, passed away on August 12, 2008. Jerry leaves behind his bride of 43 years, Ann M. Dennis of Converse, TX; daughter, Mari L. Longacre of Converse, TX; brothers, Rudy Bagnato of Converse, TX, William J. Bagnato of Devine, TX, Ronald R. Dennis of Greensburg, PA, Gary Dennis of Waco, TX and Russell Dennis of Waco, TX; sisters, Donna S. Bagnato of San Antonio, TX and Patricia D. Munoz of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Jaqueline I. Longacre of Converse, TX and Nicolas W. Longacre of Converse, TX; nieces and nephews, Corina A. Bravi of San Antonio, TX, Rudy S. Bagnato Jr. of San Antonio, TX, Duane A. Bagnato of San Antonio, TX, Lisa Heasley of Greensburg, PA, Michael Sheehy of Carrolton, TX, Brian Dennis of Greensburg, PA, Varinia Munoz of San Antonio, TX, Angel Munoz of San Antonio, TX, Isaac Munoz Jr. of San Antonio, TX, Patricia Munoz of San Antonio, TX, Sylvia Munoz of San Antonio, TX, Ruby Guerra of San Antonio, TX, and Santa Munoz of San Antonio, TX and other relatives & friends. Jerry was a gentle soul who loved his job and all the customers he interacted with on a daily basis. Jerry is one of the reasons Goodwill has received so many kudos for outstanding customer service. Jerry was a Military Veteran spending 4 ½ years in the Air Force during the 60s as a Morse Code Interpreter. After 18 years with working for the Railroad, Jerry entered Civil Service from which he retired in May 2004. In June 2004, he joined the Goodwill Team at Randolph. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 15, 2008 at St. Monicas Catholic Church in Converse, TX. Interment, with military honors, will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in Fort Sam Houston, TX.
