Jerry was born to Elster Anderson and Margaret Anderson (née Accola) on New Year's Day, January 1, 1934, in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin. He was widowed from his devoted wife Jo Frances Anderson (née Hall, b. November 7, 1949, d. October 7, 2003) and was a graduate of Loyola University of New Orleans. In his life he proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired from the IBM Corporation after thirty-six years. After retirement, Jerry continued to be a Management Consultant to several corporations for another 20 years, as well as leading his local YMCAs. An avid sailor from an early age, he sailed right into his 92nd year. He was a member of several Christian Churches and most recently at Universal City United Methodist Church.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Elster & Margaret and his sister Edith (Dolly) and his wife Jo. Thankfully for all of us, his younger siblings Don and Marlene are still with us, as well as his sons Jeffrey and Charles and his grandchildren Timothy and Alexis. Because a list of true Friends would take up another 100 pages, we can only thank you all and sincerely hope that you live healthily into your 90s as Jerry did.
