Jana Jagmin

September 10, 1955 — February 22, 2007

Jana Ruth (Covey) Jagmin, age 51 of San Antonio, passed away on February 22, 2007 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was an example of strength, leaving footprints on the hearts of all those she touched with her spirit and love for life. As a single mother, she excelled in the industrial sales industry. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard A. Bud Peterson. She is survived by husband, Ron Jagmin, San Antonio; daughter, Heather Tye & husband, Eric, San Antonio; son, Aaron Covey & wife, Shannon, San Antonio; mother, Dorothy Peterson, San Antonio; mother-in-law, Mildred Jagmin, Dallas; sister, Kay Shumake, San Antonio; brothers, Kai Peterson & wife, Rebecca, Baton Rouge, LA, Jeff Peterson & wife, Judy, Fairbanks, AK; grandchild, Averie Michelle Covey; nieces & nephew, Kyle & Kelsey Shumake & Victoria & Clarissa Peterson; aunts & uncles, Ruthie & Ken Thurman, Bob & Shirley Luedtke; dear cousins as well as many special friends. She will be sadly missed & she will remain in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM (family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM) on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 26, 2007 at Community Bible Church with Pastor Robert Emmitt & Pastor Frank Owen officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
