James is survived by sons; Daniel Ray Rankin, Alan Wayne Rankin, Brian James Rankin, step- daughter, Bonnie Rivera, step-sons; Charles Stanley and John Stanley, sister, Patricia Ann Morgan. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012, 7:00pm, at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers family asked that donations be made to the American Heart Association, 8415 Wurzbach Road San Antonio, TX 78229.
