Jackson Ronnie Christofoletti, 78, passed away unexpectedly on March 26,2023 in San Antonio, Texas. Son of David Christofoletti and Imogene Crawford, Ron graduated from Lee High School where he played football and ran track breaking several records. Ron also attended Sol Ross University before being drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals as well as served two years in the U.S. Army running track. Ron married Linda Sue Christofoletti in 1975 and would have celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary this November. Ron was a hard worker and shared his talents with several companies over the years before retiring from UTSA. Ron especially enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing alongside his friends, daughters, and grandchildren all while passing on his knowledge and memorable stories. Ron was also active in helping youth in FFA experiences where he aided in livestock projects such as lambs, goats, rabbits, pigs, cows, and chickens and was also well known in the community for coaching youth sports. Ron, or “Mr. C” as many came to know him, coached many of his daughters’ softball teams over the years and was a member of the TriCity Softball Board of Directors. Ron is preceded in death by both his parents David and Imogene Christofoletti, twin brother Johnny, brother Gary Christofoletti, sister Velma Nichols, and several aunts and uncles. Ron is survived by his wife Linda Sue Christofoletti. Daughters Kimber LeAnn Amo, Lacey Nicole Christofoletti, Amber Camille Christofoletti with Tracy Tallman, Kelsey Shaye Christofoletti, grandchildren, John Paul Garcia Jr, Jackson Christopher Garcia, Ethan Jerimiah Gilliam, Desirae Michelle Garcia, Courtney Marie Garcia, Hannah Shae Perez- Amo, William Tyler Amo, Lilah Grace Amo, Bethanie Perez-Amo, Torri Amo, sister-in-law, nephews and nieces, and several cousins.
Services will be held at the Schertz Funeral Home at 2217 FM 3009 Schertz TX 78154 with visitation on 4/10/23 from 5 pm to 8 pm and the funeral service on 4/11/23 at 11:30 am, burial at the Fort Sam Houston Cemetery at 1:15 followed by a reception at the Legion located at 504 Bowie Rd Universal City TX 78148.
Pallbearers will be John Paul Garcia Jr, Jackson Christopher Garcia, Ethan Jeremiah Gilliam, Jeremy Burton, Tyler Hill, Bethanie Perez-Amo, Misty Dingle, Ruben Ackles, and Amber Camille Christofoletti.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your favorite charity or the American Cancer Society.
