Irma M. Cerda, 77, of Schertz, Texas, went to be with the Lord surrounded by family on October 3, 2023. She was born in Universal City, Texas on February 5, 1946, to Trinidad and Angela Martinez.
She was married for 23 years to Julio Cerda and devoted over 20 years of her life working for Trinity Christian Academy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad and Angela; husband, Julio Cerda; and siblings, Guadalupe Hernandez and Lucy Martinez.
She is survived by her daughter, Imelda Cerda; son, Adrian Cerda; grandchildren, Sebastian and Ashley Cerda; great grandchild, Autumn Cerda; and siblings, Cruz Martinez, Juan Martinez, and Mary Ross.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 am with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:00 am on Friday, October 20, 2023, at St. Monica Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate any financial contributions towards funeral expenses.
