Howard Ray Hughes

Howard Ray Hughes of Schertz, Texas passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 48. He was born on May 10, 1975, in Alice, Texas to Robert and Mary Hughes.

A high school graduate of Eagle Pass, he worked in the Oilfield as a Safety Worker and recently enjoyed employment with the CCC Group Industrial Construction.

He loved hunting, fishing, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Above everything though, he loved his family and being with his daughters.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother; Maria Hughes, his paternal grandparents; Raul and Herminia Hughes, and his maternal grandparents; Eliseo and Domitila Valdez.

Howard is survived by his daughters; Olivia Rae Hughes, Kylie Rae Hughes, his mother; Mary Hughes, his father; Robert (Belinda) Hughes, his sisters; Yvonne (Jeff) Molina and Nicole (Porfirio) Hughes-Elguezabal, his nieces and nephews; Erika Martinez, Joe Cesar Serrato, Nickoles D. Hughes, Angelina N. Elguezabal, and Hunter C. Elguezabal, his beloved German Shepherd; Dallas, and numerous other friends and loved ones.
