In Loving Memory of Holly Lynnette Lessard

Holly Lynnette Lessard was born to Margaret Lessard and George Lessard in Germany on February 28, 1971, during one of her father’s many military assignments. After their time in Germany came to an end, the family returned to her father’s hometown, where Holly graduated from Samuel Clemens High School.

Shortly after graduating, Holly was blessed with her son, Alberts Nelson Gallwas. She embraced the roles of mother, daughter, and big sister to Pauline. In the years that followed, she was blessed to meet the love of her life, Robert Perez, to whom she was married for 10 years. Robert loved Holly profoundly, cherishing her vibrant spirit and loving her until her final breath.

Holly was a wonderful and devoted Nana to her many grandchildren. Her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and profound love touched everyone she met, especially her grandchildren.

Holly was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Lessard, and her father, George Lessard, who welcomed her with open arms into our Heavenly Father’s kingdom.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Perez; her younger sister, Pauline Sowder (husband, John Sowder , and son, Michael Sowder); her son, Alberts Gallwas Sr. (wife, Collette Valadez; daughters, Jayden Salinas, Analeece Salinas, Lillyanna Matanane, Sophie Owen; and son, Albert Gallwas Jr.); and her grandchildren, Lexi, Journie and Anthony Owen.

Holly’s love, laughter, and vibrant spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her memory will live on through her family and the countless lives she touched. She will always be loved, deeply missed, and cherished in our hearts.
