Helen Salinas

December 23, 1967 — April 4, 2021

Helen M. Salinas entered into eternal peace on April 4, 2021, with her loving family by her side. Helen was born on December 23, 1967 in San Antonio, Texas. She will be reunited in Heaven with her father, Gilbert Morales Jr. She is survived by her Husband, Charles Salinas, Son Charles Salinas Jr., and wife Kayla; Daughters Jenna Nicole Salinas and Nicole Taylor Salinas; Grandchildren Arya Rose Salinas and Alezander Rodriguez; Mother Celia Uriegas Morales; her sister Stella Vasquez; Brothers Nick Morales and Gilbert Morales III and wife Laura; nephew Eric Guzman, nieces Bianca Vasquez, Lauren Morales, and Megan Morales.
Helen was a Field Account Representative with HD Supply for over 10 years. She loved her job and enjoyed working with her HD Supply co-workers and her clients. Helen had a wonderful sense of humor; she had a way of always making others laugh and feel good. Her smile was contagious, she had a way to make everyone feel special. Her sense of style was impeccable, and she always looked beautiful. Helen loved to travel to the beach every weekend during the summer with her husband of 30 years, Charles. Their love for each other is endless. Charles was at her beside every day during her hospitalization of nearly 14 months, he continually showed her love, encouragement, and support. Helen will be truly missed, always remembered but never forgotten.

Thank you to all family and friends for their prayers over Helen and to Dr. Garza and Dr. John Metersky of St. Lukes Hospital and staff who attended to Helen.

The family would like to thank the HD Supply Family for their support for Helen, and a Special thanks to Pepsi Co for allowing Charles the time he needed to spend with Helen.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 5:00PM-9:00PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM at the Schertz Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 11:30AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church followed by internment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
