Helen Frances Fey Bourgeois, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and sister-in-law was called home to be with her Lord on Friday, December 5, 2008 at Canyon Lake, Texas. She was born on December 22, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Samuel Clemens High School in 1977. Her extended working career consisted of many years with Handy Dan, Henry S. Miller and Grubb & Ellis. She was currently employed with Comal Independent School District. She managed the pool at Mystic Shores at Canyon Lake. She is a member of the Canyon Lake High School Future Farmers of America Alumni. She participated in the Canyon Lake Girl Scout Troop #1899. Helen was also a very active member of the PTAs associated with her childrens schools. She was an avid reader. She loved to bowl and was a member of the Fisher Nine Pin Bowling Club. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. She is survived by her husband, George J. (Skip) Bourgeois, Jr., son Nathan Louis Bourgeois and daughter Breanne Nicole Bourgeois. One sister Donna Fey Reilly and husband Clancy, nieces Shelby and Kristin Reilly. Sister-in-law Barbara Steidinger and husband Jimmy. Cousin and best friend Janet Fey Friesenhahn and husband Eric, and children Wesley and Stacey Friesenhahn and numerous other cousins and relatives and her beloved dog Pinto. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Rosemary Fey. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM (with a Rosary being recited at 7:30PM), Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Schertz Funeral Home, Schertz, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Selma, Texas. Primary donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Alternate donations can be made to SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) for the Campbell Family or the FFA (Future Farmers of America) Chapter at Canyon Lake High School.
