Harry Hott

June 5, 1947 — July 3, 2020

Harry “Stan” Hott passed away on July 3, 2020 in Schertz, Texas at the age of 73. He was born on June 5, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to parents, Olen and Bernice Hott.

Harry attended Lake Highlands High School before becoming a general construction contractor in the Dallas/ Fort Worth metroplex. He moved to the San Antonio area in 2014 where he met and eventually married his wife, Charlotte Horst Hott. They both faithfully attended Discovery Church in Cibolo, Texas.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Olen H. Hott and Bernice Hoyle Hott; mother of his children, Cheryl Iliff Hott; and grandmother, Minnie May Hoyle. He is survived by his “Blue Eyes” wife, Charlotte Horst Hott with her children, Alexander Horst and Andrew Horst; his children, Kimberly Hott Harris with husband, LCDR, Sam Harris (USN) and Shawn Harris; grandchildren, TSgt Kaitlyn Garcia Crumley and husband, SSgt Andrew Crumley (USAF), HN Micah Olen Harris (USN); sisters, Judy Hott McNeely and Sarah Hott Grace; as well as many precious nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will take place at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas on Friday, July 17, 2020.

In lieu of flowers, please make donation to TruLight Youth Village - TruLight Youth Village is a place for kids who have been abused and neglected to find hope and healing. We are the only emergency shelter in Guadalupe Co that takes kids in crisis and we also have long term beds for kids who need help for the long term.
