Guadalupe Toro

Guadalupe Buitron Del Toro, age 85, of Selma, Texas, went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfredo and Valeria Buitron, her husband, Raul Del Toro Sr., and her Son, Reynaldo B. Del Toro. She is survived by her husband, David Del Toro of Selma, Texas, and her son Raul Del Toro Jr (wife, Rebecca) of Cibolo, Texas. She had 3 Grandchildren: Raul Del Toro III (Shannon) of Kirby, Texas; Pamela Guerrero (Eric) of Floresville, Texas; and Stefanie Casias (Johnny) of Schertz. Guadalupe also had 7 great-grandchildren: Dominique and Serena Del Toro; Eric-Tyler, Mathew and Easton Guerrero; and Jayten and Jaxon Casias.

Guadalupe spent her early years as part of the Cibolo Volunteer Fire Department and participated in the Ladies Pumper Team. She was a member of the Socediad Mutua Fraternal de Cibolo and the Mutua Fraternal de Padres Marion. She loved to bake and was well known for her cakes and Christmas cookies. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother and was very proud of her family. She will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, from 5:00pm-9:00pm at the Schertz Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 10:00am with a burial to follow at Selma Cemetery #2.
