Glen Howard Snyder

April 1951 to September 2026

Glen passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026, at the age of 75. He was born to Howard and Mary Snyder in Rochester, New York, and graduated from Arcadia High School in Greece, New York, in 1969. Glen joined the Air Force in 1970 and served for 20 years. In June 1972, he married his wife, Robin, with whom he would spend the next 54 years.

After moving frequently with the military, Glen found his forever home in Texas. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he continued working as a contractor for many years with several companies, including Lockheed Martin, CDSI, PRC, among others. Glen spent his retirement years traveling with Robin and was able to see much of the world. They especially loved their yearly trips to Key West, Florida. His favorite retirement activity was delivering Meals on Wheels which he proudly did for 13 years.

Glen is survived by his wife of 54 years, Robin; his daughter Jennifer, her children Emma, Ryan and Lila; and his son, Jeremy; his sister, Janet Gwen DiPalma, and her husband, Dave; and his niece, nephews, their families, and other extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Shertz Funeral Home, 2217 FM 3009, Shertz, TX 78154. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Meals on Wheels, Comal County Senior Center; 710 Landa; New Braunfels, TX 78130.
