George M. Solomon, Jr.

George M. Solomon Jr., 77, of Cibolo, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 16, 2025 surrounded by family.
George was born November 2, 1947 in Orange, Texas to George M. Solomon Sr. and Becky McCoppin Solomon. George was a career businessman, who in his spare time had a passion for soccer and spent many years playing, coaching, and refereeing. George was also 4th degree with the Knights of Columbus.

George is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Rolen Solomon; His children, Rebecca Sichterman; Joey Solomon and his wife Rita; Laurie Jackson and her husband Gary. He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister.

Visitation with be held on Thursday August 21, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 PM with a recitation
of the rosary to begin at 7:00 PM at Schertz Funeral Home located at 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, TX 78154. Funeral Mass will be held Friday August 22, 2025 at 11:30 at Church of the Good Shepherd located at 1065 E Live Oak Rd, Schertz, TX 78154, with graveside service immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery.
