Gary Ray Dennis

Gary Ray Dennis, aged 73, of Cibolo, TX, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025. He was born in Midland, TX, to his beloved parents, Vernon Ray Dennis and Maggie Darnela McMillan Dennis.

Gary was a passionate individual who embraced life through a variety of hobbies. He loved fishing, hunting, golfing, dancing, and cooking. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Above all, Gary cherished the time spent with his family, weaving a tapestry of memories that will last forever. Professionally, he made his mark as a Business Development Manager at Mcliff Coffee & Vending.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Dennis, his daughters; Becky Holt (Brandon), Kelly Toepperwein (Evan), Christie Applebee (Drew), step sons Jim Willis, and Bryan Staab; mother, Maggie Darnela McMillan Dennis; brother, Jimmy Dennis (Pat); aunts, Betty Jones and Doris McMillan-Brigman; and uncles, John McMillan (Marion) and Bill McMillan. His legacy continues through his adoring grandchildren: Brooke, Blake, Colten, Greysen, Adalyn, Victoria and Keegan. Gary is also survived by his furry friends; Vesper, Coco and Cookie.

Gary is preceded in death by his father, Vernon Ray Dennis and infant sister Juanelle Dennis.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Friday, July 11 with a visitation hour beginning at 2:00 PM and service beginning at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to cancer research, contributing to a cause that was important to them.

Gary's warmth, joy for life, and love for his family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
