Eva Brula

God welcomed A new angel Eva Loue (Amerson) Brula at age 79 of Schertz Texas.   She was born in Lubbock Texas on December 19 ^th 1940 then entered that heavenly mansion on Friday October 30 ^th 2020.  She was a blessing and an angel to her family all her life just like the angels she collected.  She had a love of ceramics and oil painting in her younger years, and she also sewed a great number of clothes for her family.

She graduated from Petersburg High School in 1959 following that she went to beauty school and was a hair dresser for the better part of 40 years.  She then worked at Triumphant Lutheran Church Mother’s Day Out program with the infants sharing her lover for better than 10 years

Thanks to her great faith and her love of our Heavenly Father and loving family she flew peacefully with the angels in sleep.  We should all remember her mothers’ words that she taught us “Remember the good and forget the bad” and live by them just as she did.

She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Eva Leona Amerson and her brothers John Amerson, George Amerson and Dwight Amerson.  She left behind a loving husband, Michael Brula, of 36 years and her two sisters Ruby Embry and Glenda Ware.  Her beloved children Ray Weaver, Debbie McHorse and Stephen Brula.  Her blessing of grandchildren Josh Weaver, Dixie Carter, Jacob Weaver, Chris Crum, Brian Crum and Eva May Sorrell.  Her joyful great grandchildren Reale, Dakota, Carolyn, Peyton, Evelyn, Gracie, Rhodry and Piper.  Many others were close to her heart too.

There will be a viewing at Schertz Funeral Home on Friday November 6 ^th 2020 from 5pm to 9pm, all are welcome.

She will be placed in the Memorial Garden at Triumphant Lutheran Church Thursday November 19 ^th 2020 at 10am.  She will be surrounded by flowers just like in her garden at home that she loved so much.

In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to the Triumphant Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
