On July 21, 2026, Eunice Muriel Harrison passed away peacefully at home in Schertz, TX. She was 92 years young. Born on 1 December 1933 to Ansel Hayward and Georgina Woolridge in Flatts Village, Bermuda she would have an interesting childhood living on the island as a part of the British Commonwealth. She was a devoted sister to her brother Reginald Woolridge. In the early 1950s she would attend Alma College in Canada. While there she was a member of the Drama Club Executive. She returned to Bermuda shortly thereafter due to the ill health of her mother. She worked various jobs including teaching at a local school and at Kindley AFB. It was at Kindley AFB she met Andrew L Harrison. She married him on May 31, 1963. They remained married until the death of Andrew Sr in 2025.

On August 12, 1964, they welcomed a baby boy by the name of Andrew L Harrison Jr. Shortly thereafter they began what would be a literal world tour of life with the U.S. Air Force. They travelled through many states in the U.S. and places around the world. Finally settling in Converse, TX in the summer of 1976. Eunice went to work teaching at Park Village Elementary soon after. She taught there until her retirement in 1997. Afterward she settled into retirement by taking up many hobbies and travelling. She also became more active in her love of nature. Even with all the moving around the world she never lost her love for Bermuda, travelling back home on many occasions and keeping in touch with all the people she knew growing up. Eunice was preceded in passing by both her parents and her brother Reggie. She is survived by her son Andrew Jr.

A Visitation for Eunice will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Schertz Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held the next morning on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Schertz Funeral Home at 11:00 AM, guests may begin gathering before at 10:00 AM.
