Elnora Louise Dublin, 85, resident of Schertz Texas, passed away peacefully in her home on October 31st, 2023.
She was born January 22, 1938, as the sixth of seven children to her parents, Ima May (Pitman) and Arville Guston Hart in Graves County, Kentucky. She grew up on a modest family farm in rural western Kentucky.
In 1956 she married Richard ("Art") Dublin, raised a family, following his career in the Air Force, and remained by his side until his passing in 2016. She lived a simple life taking care of her home and family.
Elnora loved her family, her neighbors and dogs. She had a quick wit that always brought a smile.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Jean Dublin, her Parents, Arville Hart, and Ima Hart, her sisters, Fredia (Rainey), Glenda (Watts), brothers, Daryl Hart and Stanley "Rudy" Hart. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Hart, brother, Dwight Hart (Virginia Hart), daughter Anita (Strong), son, Richard Dublin, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
A visitation/viewing and memorial service will be held for Elnora at Schertz Funeral Home on November 14th, 2023 at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Burial will proceed afterwards at 2:00 PM, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Shelter 1.
