Elizabeth Ann Zipp, also known as “Beth,” by many. She was 58 years old and lived in Marion, Texas. On January 1, 2024, Beth passed away at Resolute Baptist Hospital in New Braunfels, Texas. Beth was born on August 8, 1965, at James Connely Air Force Base in Waco, Texas. Born to her mother Sharon Bowers Harrington and father James Harrington. Beth was an elementary school teacher for 25 years. She enjoyed working at Schultze Nursery in Marion, Texas, during her summer breaks, gardening at home, and volunteering at the local animal shelters. Beth survived her husband Teddy Zipp, children; Cody, Dalton, and Kaylee, daughters-in-law; Rheagan and Taylor, grandchildren; Harvey, Lyla, and Eloise. She is also survived by her parents, stepmother, father-in-law, siblings, stepsiblings nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends she loved dearly. Beth was preceded in death of her grandparents and brother Robert Harrington. Friends and family are welcome to join the celebration of Beth’s life on January 8, 2024, at 10 am. The memorial will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 777 West San Antonio Street New Braunfels, Texas. The family also asks that those who attend the service wear colors that remind them of Beth. Please do not wear all black. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or Hope Hospice.
