Douglas Craig Walls

Douglas Craig Walls, 67, of Schertz, Texas, went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2024.

 He was born in Amarillo, Texas in 1956 to Clif and Ginger Walls, and described as a very curious, active, and loving child. Doug attended Tascosa High School before studying Business at LeTourneau University.

 Some of Doug’s hobbies included golfing, fishing, and attending concerts. He loved relaxing in the backyard with a full glass, sitting beside his wife, listening to music, while their dogs loyally laid nearby.

 Doug first met the love of his life, Ruthann, in 1980 at a friendly house gathering in Amarillo, Texas. After a seasoned 29 years, Doug and Ruthann reconnected in 2011. With full hearts in finding their way back to each other, the two were married on November 12, 2013, in San Antonio, Texas.

 Doug is survived by his wife Ruthann, daughter Whitney, son Jordan, mother Ginger, siblings Beverly, Annette, and Tommy, granddaughter Emma, nephews and nieces, and stepdaughters Elizabeth, Kaitlyn, and Jayce. Preceded in death by his father Clif.

 A Memorial Service will be held on January 15^th at 6:00pm at Schertz Funeral Home.
