Dorothy Hinz

December 1, 1924 — December 8, 2008

Dorothy R. Hinz was born in Bronx, New York on December 1, 1924 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 8, 2008 at the age of 84. Dorothy is the daughter of John J. Melvin and Catherine (Murphy) Melvin and sister of John T. Melvin she is survived by her two sons, John P. and Mark S. Hinz. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM (with a Prayer Service to begin at 8:00 PM) on Friday, December 12, 2008 at Schertz Funeral Home with Monsignor Roger Robbins officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Queens, New York at a later date.
