Doris Harris

Doris Jean Harris, born February 27, 1951 in Seguin, TX, passed away on December 9, 2021 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 70. Doris is preceded in death by her father Herbert Butler, mother Estelle Bonner-Butler, and sister Lende Matthews.
She is survived by son Hillery Morris Harris and wife Janisa Harris of Converse, her daughter Cherise Lavette Harris and husband Charles Gaston of Beaumont, her grandson Steven John-Michael Harris of Marion, and her granddaughters Sarai and Devan Hodges of Converse. She is also survived by her sisters Helen Guenther of Marion and Shannon Waller of San Antonio and several nieces and nephews.
Doris enjoyed taking care of others. She spent most of her life nursing others back to health. She also enjoyed traveling with Helen and Alexander. We can’t forget to mention her Lifetime shows. You never get between her and her Lifetime movies and she would shush you with stare when they were on.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 beginning at 12:00 noon with a Celebration of Life starting at 1:00pm.
