Donna Anne Ridge

September 2, 1944 — February 2, 2026

Schertz

Donna Anne Ridge, age 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 2, 2026. She was born on September 2, 1944, in Sprott, Alabama, to Robert and Grace Kinnear and was a beloved sister to Barbara and Frank. Growing up in a military family, Donna lived in many places throughout her childhood, including Alabama, Tennessee, Panama, and Texas.

Donna’s love for the Lord was evident throughout her life. It was at First Baptist Church in Schertz, Texas, where she met and married the love of her life, Larry Lee Webb of Ann Arbor, Michigan. After spending several years in Michigan—living next door to her in-laws on beautiful Portage Lake and braving the cold winters—the family returned to Texas in 1972 and settled in Schertz.

Donna played an integral role in the success of the family’s long-running business, Larry’s Automotive. After getting her children off to school each morning, she faithfully worked at the shop, managing the books and paperwork, welcoming customers, and shining her warm light on everyone she encountered. In so many ways, she was the heart and soul of her family.

Donna’s greatest joy in life was caring for others. She was everyone’s biggest cheerleader, and her family always came first. To many, she was a “second Mom,” offering encouragement, wisdom, and unconditional love. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who supported her family in every possible way, attending sporting events, theater productions, school functions, and music concerts whenever she could. She understood the importance of a child or grandchild looking up and seeing someone who loves them in the audience.

Donna was a gifted artist who designed and created wood crafts for many years. She loved gardening and cultivating beautiful flowers and trees. She enjoyed bird watching, soaking in sunrises and sunsets, traveling to new places, and making treasured memories with family and friends. She loved to laugh until she cried and truly never met a stranger. She was always willing to help anyone who needed to know someone cared—and every stray cat in the neighborhood seemed to know it too.

She devoted her life to serving the Lord through many areas of church ministry. Whether teaching Sunday School, directing Vacation Bible School, hosting women’s life groups in her home, or greeting members and guests, her love for Christ was reflected in years of faithful service. At age 60, Donna founded “Aging Gracefully,” an in-home supportive care service born from her deep compassion for the elderly. She had the blessing of caring for many dear friends in her home for several years. Donna’s favorite verse was Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” She held tightly to that promise, lived by it daily, and shared it freely with everyone she met. And now, she has received that promised future in its fullness. We have no doubt that as she stepped into her eternal home, she heard the words of her Savior, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

We will see you again, sweet Mama. We love you forever.

Donna is survived and deeply loved by her sister, Barbara Graham Smith of San Antonio, Texas; her son, Corey Webb of Schertz, Texas; her daughter, Debbie Webb McDaniel and son-in-law Troy McDaniel of Cypress, Texas; her daughter, Becky Webb Kusak and son-in-law Chris Kusak of New Braunfels, Texas; her eight grandchildren: Meagan, Kayla, Zachary, Dawson, Adriana, Tobey, Noah, and Gracie; her two great-grandchildren, Easton and Cohen; and her nephew, Eric Kinnear of Dickinson, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Kinnear; her mother, Grace Kinnear; her brother, Frank Kinnear; and her nephew, Jim Graham.
