In Loving Memory of Dicky Badana Feria
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Dicky Badana Feria on October 11, 2023. Born on March 29, 1963, in Palauig, Zambales, Dicky’s life was a testament to love, dedication, and resilience.
Dicky was a man of simple pleasures. He found solace in the gentle sway of the fishing rod and the thrill of the tong-its card game. A lover of chickens and roosters, his home echoed with their lively crowing, symbolizing his passion for local cockfights. But above all, it was his love for his family that shone brightest.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Maria Chona Feria; daughters, Michelle Feria Kautz and Lizelle Feria Banayos; sons, Eufemio Q. Feria II, and Dicky Q. Feria, Jr.; and niece Diana B. Sapp. Dicky was a beloved brother to Nancy F. Quiatchon, Alice Atienza, Marilyn F. Rivano, Magie Mendoza, Lucky Feria, Jennifer Ferrer, Rohito Taimanao, and Christy Malabanan. His legacy will continue to live on through his grandchildren: Jaleah Elouise C. Feria, Isaac Uriel F. Kautz, Elijah Dicky C. Feria and Jace Cooper Sapp.
Dicky’s stories, filled with humor, insights from his fishing escapades, and tales of memorable card games, will forever resonate in our hearts. As we remember him, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by moments of joy, laughter, and invaluable life lessons.
A Viewing Day will be held on October 19, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Central Time, and the Funeral Service on October 20, 2023, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Schertz Funeral Home and Crematory. We kindly request attendees to wear a white-colored top in honor of Dicky’s memory.
May he rest in peace, surrounded by the tranquil waters and the gentle hum of nature he so dearly loved.
