Dewitt Churchwell, Iii

October 28, 1953 — February 28, 2008

Churchwell III, Dewitt Talmadge, of Garden Ridge, TX, died unexpectedly on Feb 28, 2008, at the age of 54, a loving husband, devoted father and faithful friend to all who knew him. Survived by his wife and best friend Gail Gajewski Churchwell, and their three sons Nathan T., age 19, Philip, age 16, and David Henry, age 9. Further survived by brothers Jeff Churchwell of Knoxville, TN, and John Churchwell of Berkeley, CA, six nieces, six nephews, many other relatives and dear friends. Dewitt was President of Marek Brothers Systems, Inc., San Antonio Division. He was a devoted employee for 29 years. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 2, 2008, beginning at 5pm in Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 F.M. 3009, Schertz, TX, 78154. Funeral service will be Monday, March 3, 2008 at noon in Oakwood Baptist Church, 2154 Loop 337, New Braunfels, TX, 78130. The family would like to thank Dr. R.K. Thompson and the entire operating room staff at Northeast Baptist Hospital.
