Dennis Sligh

March 21, 1973 — May 31, 2020

Dennis Sligh left this world on May 31, 2020 at the age of 47. He was a beloved son, brother,
husband, father, and friend. He was much loved and will be truly missed. He was born in Cheboygan, Michigan and at the age of two, he and his family moved to Marquette, Michigan. He lived in Izmir, Turkey from 1985 to 1988 and then moved to Texas. He graduated from Samuel Clemens High School in 1991 and enlisted in the Air Force where he served until 1995. He was currently employed at Custom Sounds of San Antonio as a bay manager.

Dennis enjoyed on-line gaming with his friends, watching Red Wings hockey, Detroit Lions and the University of Michigan football games, grilling with family and friends, and listening to music with his wife and daughter Haley.

Dennis was preceded in death by his adored grandmother, Eleanor O'Donnell, his father Robert Sligh and his uncles John, Robert, Patrick, Jerry, Tim and David O'Donnell. He is survived by his beloved wife Tiffany, his beautiful children Amber, Tyler, Cameron, Madison, and Haley; his sister, Deonza Sligh, his sister -in- law and brother -in- law Gale and Douglas McLean; three nephews Tanner, Parker and Connor McLean, his loving and caring mother Janice Sligh-Banister, his stepfather Winston "Dickie" Banister. Aunts and uncles includes Judy and James Barber, Mary Kay and Ralph LaHaie, Vickie O'Donnell, Jean and Ed Lorence, Dan and Tina O'Donnell and numerous cousins.


A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 14th at 2:00 p.m at the Schertz Funeral Home located at 2217 F.M. 3009, Schertz, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your local organization that supports homeless veterans

Due to the pandemic masks will be provided please feel free to wear one.
