Denise Marie Junek, born on March 25, 1980, passed away on April 2, 2016 at the age of 36. Denise was a Mother, Sister, Daughter and an Aunt. She was a stay at home mom and loved her two children more than life. Denise had a kind heart and shared it with everyone she met. She was also a handy woman around her house. She did her own pluming, wooden floors, painted walls and recently did a brake job on her own car. Denise will truly be missed by everyone who knew her. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Neal and Suzanne Junek; grandmother, Irene Briones; grandfather, Richard T. Sampson. Denise is survived by her mother, stepfather, Diana and Rick Briones of Schertz,TX; father, stepmother, Dennis and Debbie Junek of San Antonio, TX; children, Dominick Robinson, Deziree Junek of Schertz,TX; twin sister, Deanna Ruggs of Schertz, TX; step brother, Ricky Briones; step sisters, Ashley Briones, Jessica Briones all of Corpus Christi,TX; grandparents, Jose R. Briones of San Antonio, TX; Roscoe and Shirley Delk of Cibolo, TX. She is loved by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 5:00PM - 9:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 11:00AM at Schertz Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
