Deanna Ruggs

Deanna Lynne Ruggs, born on March 25, 1980, passed away on December 17, 2016, at the age of 36. Deanna loved spending quality time with family and friends; and enjoyed playing with her daughter Destinee. She lived her life to the fullest. Deanna is preceded in death by her twin sister Denise Junek; grandparents, Neal and Suzanne Junek; grandmother, Irene Briones; grandfather, Richard T. Sampson. She is survived by her husband, Leslie J. Ruggs IV; daughter, Destinee N. Ruggs; father, Dennis Junek; mother, Diana Briones and husband Rick; step brother, Ricky Briones; step sisters, Ashley Briones, Jessica Briones; grandparents, Jose R. Briones; Roscoe and Shirley Delk. She is loved by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Schertz Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at 11:00 AM, at Schertz Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
