D’Antre “D” Bradford, 24, of Cibolo Texas passed away on Sunday May 15, 2022 surrounded by friends and family who loved him.
D’Antre was born October 29, 1997 in Yuma, Arizona, son of Charles Bradford and Jennifer Helm. When D’Antre was 4 years old his mom married Travis Walker, USMC. Soon after they moved to Japan, where D’Antre was raised for 6 years. D loved Japan and especially loved anime. He had a love of cars, video games, photography, sports – a huge Lakers fan, animals, family and friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor, a smile that would light up the room and always tried to make those around him happy. He would go out of his way to help someone whether it be carrying their grocery bags, running an errand, or simply holding a door open. He was one of a kind.
D'Antre graduated from Byron P. Steele High School in 2016 and completed 1 ½ years of college before being diagnosed with Pleomorphic Liposarcoma at which time he stopped due to the numerous medical appointments. D worked at Walmart for a few years where he quickly moved up in positions. He made some very close friends at work, some that he continued to spend time with until he passed.
D'Antre is survived by his mom, Jennifer Walker, dad, Travis Walker, brothers Jalen Walker, David Franklin, Michael and Miguel Ram, sisters Jennifer Franklin, Brenda Walker, Mahalia Ram, Aliyah Bradford, and Dominque Hackbarth, Grandfather Charles Bradford, Grandmother Corine Walker-Alvarez, numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He is proceeded in death by his father Charles Bradford, Grandmother Shirlee Helm, Grandfather Walter Helm, Grandmother Tremell Bradford.
The family would like to thank the outstanding staff in the 3T ICU and 5T BMT at Brooke Army Medical Center, for the outstanding care and compassion during D’s final days.
A Memorial service for D’Antre will be on May 28, 2022 at 1 PM at the Schertz Funeral Home.
