With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Danny Krueger, who peacefully passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 70 with his loving family by his side. Danny was born on March 24, 1956, in Converse, Texas. He spent his life building a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family.

Danny was the beloved son of Walter and Leonie Krueger, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by many of his cherished siblings: Melvin Krueger, Raymond Krueger, Elroy Krueger, Evelyn Krueger, Laurie Krueger, and Walter Krueger. He is survived by his brothers and sister, Edmond Krueger, Johnny Krueger, Shirley Moehring, Tommy Krueger, and Donny Krueger, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends.

A proud member of the Carpenters Union, Danny dedicated his career to the skilled trade of carpentry. He believed in honest work, took pride in doing a job the right way, and earned the respect of those who worked alongside him through his dependability and quiet determination.

Above all else, Danny was a family man. His greatest joy came from watching his children and grandchildren grow and spending time with the people he loved most.

He is lovingly remembered by his son, Jason Krueger, and his wife, Caitlyn, along with their daughters, Ryleigh and Reagan. He is also survived by his daughter, Lindsey Church, and her husband, James, and their children, Cody, McKenzie, and Tanner.

Danny was a man of few words but tremendous wisdom. He listened far more than he spoke, always paying attention to the lives of those around him. He always seemed to know what was happening not only within his own children's families but also throughout the families of his brothers and sisters.

Those who knew Danny will remember him as hardworking, kind, patient, and deeply devoted to his family.

Danny carried immense pride in the Krueger family. Being one of the Krueger siblings was something he considered an honor, and he looked up to his brothers and sisters throughout his life. The bond they shared remained one of his greatest treasures.

When he wasn't working, Danny loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He was an avid fan of the Texas Longhorns football and baseball, the Dallas Cowboys, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Houston Astros. At home, you could often find him enjoying reruns of classic westerns starring John Wayne, or listening to George Strait.

Some of Danny's happiest memories were spent at the lake with family or around the dinner table during a holiday meal.

Danny's legacy will not be measured by the number of words he spoke but by the countless lives he quietly touched. His strength was found in his gentle heart, his willingness to listen, and the unconditional love he gave to his family. The values he lived by—family, honest work, humility, and kindness—will continue to live on through the generations he leaves behind.

Danny chose cremation, and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that Danny's love lives on in the family he cherished so deeply.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
