Clotilde P Vidal - Figueroa

December 13, 1933 — March 19, 2026

Mrs Clotilde “Cloti” P. Vidal-Figueroa, age 92, of Cibolo, Texas passed away at home with her beloved husband on Thursday, March 19th. She was born on Dec 13, 1933 in Madrid, Spain to Angel Plaza and Antonia Fernandez. 

As a young girl she learned a trade, and worked as a professional seamstress, until she left her home country to marry Efrain Vidal-Figueroa, a young American soldier who swooned her while he was on vacation in Spain. Their courtship of a few months lasted 62 years. 

She dedicated her life to taking care of her family and her home, and she enjoyed sewing, making clothes for her children and dancing with her husband. She lived a life of quiet faith and wisdom. She loved everyone in a way that was gentle and unassuming. Her quiet faith and gentle spirit were event in how she handled her battle with Parkinson and Dementia. When asked how she was doing she never complained and always said she was ok. Even in her final days, she found joy in seeing pictures of her great grandchildren. 

Clotilde was preceded in death by her parents, Angel and Antonia, her brother Andres, and her son, Efrain Jr. She is survived by her husband; Efrain Vidal-Figueroa, daughter, Maria Vidal, granddaughter Jessica Borrego and her husband Daniel, grandson Christopher Hartman and his wife Jena, grandson Nicolas Hartman and his wife Savanna, and grandson Samuel Vidal as well as 3 great grandsons, Vincent, Gray and Cash.
