Charles Wade Hanson of Schertz, TX, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023. He was 67 years old.
Charles was born on July 22, 1955 in Texas City, TX to the late Hal and Lela Hanson.
He attended Samuel Clemens High School and graduated in 1973. After high school he joined the Navy where he served for 8 years.
He is survived by his wife Angie Hanson; his son, Larry Hanson & daughter-in-law, Sandra Hanson; 3 grandchildren, Charles Clubb, Courtney Hanson-King, Charles W. Hanson II. 4 great-grandchildren, Lacey King, Lilly King, Layne King, and Lela King. His sister, Verna Richards & brother-in-law Tom.
Graveside services will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Monday, July 3, 2023 at 10:45 AM – Shelter #5.
A reception will follow at the VFW Post 8315 in Schertz, TX.
