Carolyn C Swan

August 17, 1938 — September 18, 2023

Carolyn Swan, 85, living in Huntersville, NC and previously from San Antonio, Texas was surrounded by family on September 18th when she unexpectedly passed away of a massive heart attack. Carolyn was loved by many as a very active Antique Dealer, family member and friend.

Carolyn was born in Bonifay, Florida and considered herself a Floridian all her life.  Her parents, Roy and Cleo lived their lives in Florida. She was happiest when surrounded by family – daughter and grandchildren. She loved dark chocolate and chocolate ice cream (Kilwins, of course), San Antonio, shopping, antiques and Mexican food and their friends near and far.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Swan with whom she was married to for 62 years. Her life was never the same after his passing as their love was that strong. They are together again. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Click and her two granddaughters, Brittany Layell and Erica Click and her grandson-in-law, Kurt Layell.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00PM - 8:00PM on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. The Graveside Service will be held at 9:30AM on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery - Shelter 4.

Special Messages:

In considering flowers, sending to Schertz Funeral Home is best.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Heart Association in her name.
