Carmen Restrepo

On Wednesday, June 09, 2021, Carmen A. Restrepo went to be with the Lord surrounded by her son and daughter in Johnson City, Texas.Carmen was born in Bucaramanga, Colombia on July 8, 1929. She is survived by her son Jesús A. Restrepo and daughter Bernadette J. Skrove, grandchildren Sandra M. Ayers, Mackenna A. Skrove, greatgrandchildren Aurora A. Ayers, and Lucian Ayers.

“Carmencita” was the name by which she was known to the family and friends. She was a wonderful and hardworking mother who dedicated her entire life for the betterment of her children, family, and friends. She opened the way entirely on her own for her children to seek and improve their lives.  The family will miss her beautiful smile and joyful personality and she will always be remembered with love and gratitude for all of her sacrifices. Her legacy will live for ever in our minds, our work, and lives. Amén.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Schertz Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at the Schertz Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
