Carmen Lugo Gomez

Carmen Gomez, 65 of Schertz, Texas, went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2026.

Carmen was born in El Paso, Texas on July 29, 1960, to Amalia Ramirez and Pedro Lugo.

To know Carmen, was to know love. A smile that could light up a room and laughter heard throughout. Carmen was a follower of God and thanked the Lord every day, not just on Sundays.

She was a devoted mother to her four boys, a caring friend to all, and most importantly a follower of Christ.

Carmen is preceded in death by her mother and father. Carmen is survived by her sons, Joshua Lugo, Isaac Lugo, Isaias Gomez, and Joe Gomez. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Joel Lugo, Jaslynn Lugo, Juliana Lugo, Jaeyvn Lugo, Josiah Lugo, Delilah Gomez, and Legend Gomez; and longtime partner, Steve Flores.

We know you are in Heaven, and that you are now resting, we thank you for everything you taught us and for always giving your best. Although physically you are no longer with us, you will always and forever be in our mind and heart.
