Bruce Leon Greer

Bruce Leon Greer, 71, of Selma, Texas passed away on March 15, 2024. He was born on July 27, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas to J.B. Leon Greer and Gloria Jean Greer. Bruce was married to his devoted wife, Robena, for 50 years after dating for 4 years previous.

Bruce's journey in life was marked by his unwavering love for Jesus and his commitment to serving in The United States Air Force. His passion for learning led him to achieve a Masters Degree from Webster University, showcasing his dedication to personal and professional growth. Outside of his career in I.T., Bruce found joy in simple pleasures like riding his bike. 

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, J.B. Leon Greer. He is survived by his loving wife, Robena Greer; his children, Chatolom R. Greer and Maryum Benfield; grandchildren, Akanae Hall, Karin Greer, Kayori Greer, Justina Jasmine; mother, Gloria Jean Greer; siblings, Ruby Lee Yarber, Lacy Berry, Chynthia Jones, Charles Greer, Laquita Donalson, Marvin Greer, Rhonda Kelly, and Wanda Greer. 

His kind heart, strong work ethic, and devotion to those he loved leave an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him. Bruce's legacy will live on through the memories shared by those who had the privilege of calling him family or friend.

A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Journey Fellowship Church of Schertz, Texas.
